New Hampshire State Rebates 
(NH Public Utilities Commission)

Residential Rebates (New Hampshire)
  • 40% of system + installation costs, up to $10,000
  • Must include at least 3 tons of pellet fuel storage
  • Available for primary residences in New Hampshire
Commercial Rebates (New Hampshire)
  • 40% of system + installation costs, up to $65,000
  • 3-ton minimum pellet storage required
  • Bonus: 30% rebate for thermal storage tank, up to $5,000

Vermont Incentives

Pellet Boiler Tax Holiday: No sales tax on pellet boilers or installation equipment.
Efficiency Vermont Rebates: $3,000 cash back for high-efficiency wood pellet boilers and furnaces
Must be installed as a primary indoor heating system.
Systems must:
  • 40% of system + installation costs, up to $10,000
  • Must include at least 3 tons of pellet fuel storage
  • Available for primary residences in New Hampshire
For Commercial Buildings (5,000+ sq. ft.):
Up to $1.25 per sq. ft. in additional funding (contact Renewable Energy Vermont for details).

    Efficiency Maine Rebate :

    System requirements:

    Must be installed as a primary indoor heating system.
    • 2-week autonomous operation (approx. 1-ton capacity), or
    • 500+ lb. bin and an automatic backup heating system (propane, oil, or gas) using the same thermostat and distribution system
