The three Fröling TX 150 wood chip/wood pellet boilers installed at the Stowe VT Middle/High School have gone through a week-long commissioning schedule and are now ready to operate. The three boilers are connected to a 500-gallon buffer tank that can produce up to 1.5 MM Btu/hr. The boilers are set up to operate on wood pellets and are connected to an outside silo with a flexible auger system. The boilers can also be set up for wood chips. These boilers are built tough for commercial applications and are very low maintenance. The boilers are also ASME certified.
